Lewdly AI vs OurDream AI: NSFW AI Image Generator Showdown (2026)

One sells tokens for the best photoreal output in the category. The other sells Dreamcoins for a companion who happens to send pictures. I wrote one image brief, ran it eight times on each app on a Saturday night in August, and the cost came out seven cents apart.

Every Lewdly AI vs OurDream AI writeup I could find frames this as premium against budget. Twenty-five dollars a month versus ten, pick your wallet, done. That framing survived about forty minutes of me actually using both. Once you work out what a single picture costs on each platform, the gap shrinks to roughly a penny, and the question you should be asking turns into a completely different one.

Some context on who's judging. A year and a half of poking at these apps, a bit over a year of writing the results down, and the lesson that keeps repeating is that the sticker price on an image-first app is theater. Lewdly sells tokens. OurDream sells Dreamcoins. Both meters run while you're enjoying yourself, which is the worst possible moment to be doing arithmetic. So on the last Saturday in August I wrote one brief, ran it eight times on each platform, and kept a tally.

One disclosure before anything else. The OurDream links here are affiliate links, so I get paid if you subscribe through one. Lewdly runs no program at all, which means I have a small financial reason to prefer OurDream, and you should read the picture-quality section knowing that. Lewdly still wins it.

Before you open either one

Lewdly makes the better picture. OurDream gives you more app per dollar. Lewdly's photorealism and its one-click editing are the best I've used in this corner of the market, and nothing OurDream has comes close. OurDream's advantage is the door: about $9.99 a month on annual billing buys chat, voice, short video and roughly 200 images, where Lewdly's cheapest plan is $24.99 and has no video in it at all.

The bit that surprised me: per picture generated, they cost almost the same. Both apps meter you, and at volume Lewdly's bigger tiers are the cheaper way to make images. It just refuses to sell you a small bag.

Neither one will remember you next week. If that matters more than pixels, you want a different shelf entirely, and I say so lower down.

One brief, eight pictures each, Saturday night

Saturday, August 29th, a bit after nine in the evening. Laptop on the kitchen table, because the couch was buried under laundry I'd promised to fold on Thursday.

I typed the brief into a notes file first so both apps got the identical words: woman, mid-thirties, black slip, unmade bed, morning light through venetian blinds, no makeup, visibly tired, film grain. Nothing exotic. I wanted something where failure would be obvious, and "visibly tired" is the kind of instruction these models love to quietly overrule.

Lewdly: twenty tokens, one great picture, six wrong ages

Lewdly wants a character before it wants a scene, so I built one. Ninety seconds of ticking boxes gave me Elke: thirty-four, dark red hair, freckles across the nose, a small scar through one eyebrow because I wanted to see whether it would survive eight generations. Then I dropped the brief into the Realistic side of Realms, on the boudoir preset, and hit generate.

The second image stopped me. Skin with actual pores in it, the blind slats laying real stripes across her collarbone, grain that looked like grain instead of noise. I've been testing these generators for a long time and that one frame is the best photoreal output I have personally pulled out of an NSFW app.

Then the failure, and it's a consistent one. Six of the eight ignored "no makeup" and "visibly tired" completely, and three of those quietly shaved about ten years off her. Lewdly has a house style and the house style is a perfume ad. The scar held in five out of eight, which is better than most apps manage. One generation gave her a hand that made no anatomical sense, and that's where the editing earned its keep: I selected the hand, typed a two-word fix, and eleven seconds later it was right. No prompt engineering, no reroll, no lottery.

Total damage: eight generations at roughly two tokens each plus two inpainting passes, call it twenty tokens out of the eight hundred on the Starter plan. About sixty-two cents.

OurDream: fifty-five coins, and Dahlia got the mood right

I didn't build anyone new on OurDream, because I already have someone there. Dahlia is a dry, sarcastic botanist I made in July who is permanently convinced I over-water my plants, and I wasn't going to retire her for a test. Her whole story is in my OurDream AI review.

The difference in how you ask is the interesting part. On Lewdly I filled in a form. On OurDream I typed the brief into a conversation, and Dahlia answered it in character before any picture arrived, something snide about good morning light being wasted on me. Then the images came.

They were softer. Less skin detail, flatter light, and one of the eight handed her six fingers on the hand holding the sheet. But seven of eight looked like Dahlia, the same face I've been looking at since July, and the expression actually landed the tired note that Lewdly kept polishing away. Personality bleeding into a facial expression wasn't something I expected an image model to do, and I sat there comparing the two best shots for longer than the test needed.

Eight generations at about five coins each, plus three rerolls of the extra-finger one. Fifty-five coins out of Premium's monthly thousand. About fifty-five cents.

Sixty-two cents against fifty-five. Every comparison that sells this matchup as expensive versus cheap is pricing the doors, not the rooms.

Sunday is where it fell apart

Sunday evening I opened OurDream to ask Dahlia for a tighter crop of the best shot from the night before. She had no idea what I meant. Not a polite "remind me", just a clean slate: the slip, the blinds, the whole session, gone. I half expected it, because I'd already flagged the same behavior when I put OurDream up against Candy AI in my Secret Desires versus Candy AI comparison. Knowing a limitation and watching a character you've had for two months look straight through you are different experiences.

Lewdly did no better, for the record. The gallery kept the picture. Elke kept nothing.

I folded the laundry after that. Small victories.

What a picture actually costs on each

Here's the arithmetic that never makes it into the comparison videos. Both platforms hand you a monthly allowance of generation currency and charge you out of it per render. A Lewdly image runs about two tokens. An OurDream image runs about five Dreamcoins. Divide each subscription by the pictures it includes and the premium-versus-budget story stops holding up.

Lewdly AI token plans compared with OurDream AI Dreamcoin plans, including images included per month and approximate cost per image
PlanPrice and allowanceImages includedPer imageWhat else is in the box
Lewdly Starter$24.99/mo, 800 tokens~400~6.2 centsImages and full editing tools. No video.
Lewdly Creator$44.99/mo, 2,000 tokens~1,000~4.5 centsSame feature set, more headroom. Still no video.
Lewdly Pro$59.99/mo, 4,000 tokens~2,000~3 centsAdds video up to 10 seconds with native audio, plus AI avatars.
Lewdly Studio$149.99/mo, 10,000 tokens~5,000~3 centsEverything, for people generating all day.
OurDream Premium~$9.99/mo annual, ~1,000 coins~200~5 centsUnlimited text chat, roughly 10 short videos, roughly 20 voice minutes.
OurDream Deluxe~$29.99/mo annual, ~5,000 coins~1,000~3 centsRoughly 50 videos, roughly 100 voice minutes, unlimited text.

Lewdly figures are monthly list prices; annual discounts exist but the percentage moved twice while I was writing this. OurDream figures are the annual rate as I found it in August 2026, and paying month to month costs more. Per-generation costs are approximate, and video and voice eat far more currency than stills. Official sites: lewdly.ai and OurDream AI.

Read the per-image column and the number that matters isn't OurDream's nickel, it's Lewdly Pro's three cents. At volume, Lewdly is the cheaper way to make pictures. It simply refuses to sell you a small quantity, which is a business decision dressed up as a product tier.

Where OurDream is genuinely cheaper is the floor. Ten dollars gets you through the door with chat, voice, short video and about two hundred pictures a month. Lewdly's cheapest door is $24.99 and it has no video behind it, so the realistic entry price for Lewdly's whole feature set is the $59.99 Pro plan. Against Lewdly Starter, OurDream Premium is less than half the money. Against Pro, it's about a sixth.

And the trap is identical on both sides, which is the thing I'd actually want a friend to know before subscribing. You will not spend your allowance evenly across a month. You'll have one good night, generate thirty pictures because each one suggests the next one, and find the meter low on the 9th. I did precisely that on OurDream in July and burned most of a month's coins before midnight. Nothing about Lewdly's tokens suggests they behave any differently.

Lewdly makes better pictures, and the editing is the real reason

Output quality first, since that's what most people came for. I keep a running ranking of this in my NSFW image generation rankings, and Lewdly currently sits at the top of it. Across sixteen generations that week I found one anatomy failure, the hand, and fixed it in a single pass. The usual tells of this category, phantom limbs, melted faces, that plastic sheen that makes a render look like a render, mostly just aren't there.

The pushback I'd offer is the polish. Lewdly's output is glossy in a way that reads as a very expensive advertising shoot rather than a photograph somebody actually took. If your taste runs to messy, real, slightly unflattering, you'll be arguing with the house style every session, and you will sometimes lose.

Breadth is the other thing worth crediting. This isn't a platform that only knows how to make nudes and calls it porn. BDSM, latex, monster girls, gay content, the fetish categories are all properly executed rather than bolted on, which is not true of most of the field.

Realms, and the blank text box problem

Realms is Lewdly's cleverest idea and I haven't seen another image app copy it yet. They're themed generation presets grouped into four families: Realistic (boudoir, poolside), Anime (catgirls, succubus), Fetish (foot teasing, corsets, shibari) and Fantasy (demon queens, cyberpunk). Picking one drops a tuned prompt and matching parameters straight into the generator. One click on the Shibari realm with the right extension produces a photoreal bondage image without you typing a word.

That sounds like a convenience feature. It's actually a confidence feature. Staring at an empty prompt box is the reason a lot of people bounce off image generators entirely, and Realms removes the staring.

The editing tools are the widest gap on this page

Generated images can be fixed with verb-based edits: swap the outfit, replace the scene, refine the face, add a tattoo. Uploaded photos take the same treatment, with moderation guardrails on the obvious abuses. My Saturday hand fix took eleven seconds. On OurDream the equivalent move is to spend five more coins and hope the dice land differently.

Custom LoRA training sits above that, and here I have to be straight with you: I haven't done it. Take it as a spec rather than a verdict. You supply reference images, Lewdly fine-tunes a small model, and your character then holds the same face and body across hundreds of generations. People who've run it say it works. Nothing in OurDream is comparable, and almost nothing in the wider NSFW category is either.

OurDream's stills, to be fair to them, are good. Varied, quick, consistent with the character you built, and roughly where Candy AI lands, which I went into in my five-month Candy AI verdict. Good enough to be satisfying, never good enough to pass as a photograph. OurDream isn't chasing photorealism and it shows in what it chases instead. I later ran the same twelve picture requests through both of them for a Candy AI vs OurDream AI comparison, if that's the pair you're actually choosing between.

Everything OurDream has that Lewdly simply doesn't

Lewdly has no voice. None. No calls, no voice notes, nothing. It has video only if you pay $59.99. Its chat is a wrapper. Line those absences up and the ten-dollar app starts looking less like the budget option and more like a different product category that happens to overlap.

The thing OurDream does that I keep coming back to is the delivery mechanism. Asking Dahlia for a picture inside a conversation is a different act from typing a prompt into a box. The picture arrives as something she did, with a line of dialogue attached, rather than something I rendered. That's not a spec you can put in a table and it's the main reason I still have the app installed. Everyone else attempting the same trick gets scored against each other over in my picture-sending companion rankings.

Voice is there too: nineteen options, calls that connect. It's also the weakest thing in the app. The synthesis still sounds synthetic to me and it's English only, so treat it as a bonus rather than a reason to buy. Short video is the same story with a higher ceiling, rare enough in this category to count as a real feature, uneven enough that you'll bin half of what you generate, and expensive enough in coins that Premium's ten-ish clips a month go fast.

On the character library, OurDream quotes numbers in the millions and I can't verify them, because nobody counts these honestly. What I can tell you from using it is that the browse experience is real: pick a category, find someone whose look and personality you like, start talking in seconds. Lewdly ships a few dozen premade characters and a thirty-second builder, which is fine for its purpose and nowhere near the same thing.

One flaw I won't skip. OurDream's chats escalate fast, sometimes faster than the scene has earned. I've tried to run a slow build with Dahlia and had the model sprint for the explicit stuff while I was still setting the room up. You can steer it back, but you're actively holding the reins. For a chunk of this audience that isn't a bug at all, and I'm aware of that, which is why it's a caveat rather than a mark against.

Neither one will remember you, and one of them implies otherwise

An earlier version of this page gave OurDream a win for long-term memory. That was wrong and I'm fixing it in public rather than quietly.

Inside one sitting, OurDream's continuity is genuinely good. Dahlia holds a thread, calls back things I said fifteen messages earlier, keeps her face and her attitude stable across a whole evening of generations. That's more than a lot of image-first apps manage and it's why the pictures feel like hers. Across sittings it collapses. Sunday night settled that for me, and it matches what I found when I ran OurDream against the polished end of the market: lovely inside a session, blank the next time you log in.

Lewdly isn't in this conversation at all. Its characters have written personalities, the dirty talk is better than I expected, tipping tokens unlocks photos, and none of it carries forward. Calling that a failure feels unfair, though. Lewdly is an image tool with chat bolted on, it behaves like one, and it doesn't market itself as your girlfriend. Elke was a set of parameters that produced good pictures. I never mistook her for anything else.

So if what you want is somebody who brings up your rough Tuesday on Thursday without being prompted, neither of these is it, and no tier upgrade on either platform fixes that. The apps built around that specific problem are a separate shelf, and I keep the current standings in my AI companion memory rankings. Buying an image generator and hoping it grows a memory is how people end up disappointed in this hobby.

Paying without leaving a paper trail

This is the column where Lewdly is plainly ahead and it barely gets discussed. Crypto payment cuts the link between your identity and your account at the billing layer, the credit card option bills discreetly, galleries are private by default, and Lewdly states it doesn't train on user content. Its content policy also draws its lines out loud: no minors, no non-consensual impersonation, nothing illegal. For a platform in this category that's a stronger posture than most.

OurDream handles privacy competently and unremarkably. Standard payment processing, no crypto, a policy that's vaguer about what happens to your data. It's a real operating business rather than something sketchy, and for most people that's perfectly fine. Both apps keep your generations on their servers rather than your device, so the sensible rule applies equally: don't put anything in there you'd mind a support engineer seeing.

If your reason for being careful is a shared household, or a country where this is a legal problem rather than a social one, that payment difference matters more than any pixel count on this page.

Questions I keep getting about these two

Six that land in my inbox almost every time this pair comes up. Two of them matter more than the whole cost table above, so don't skim.

Which one actually makes better pictures?

Lewdly, and it's not a close call. Skin reads like skin, light behaves like light, and across sixteen generations in one week I hit exactly one anatomy failure. OurDream's stills are good and they're consistent with the character you built, but they're softer and flatter, roughly where Candy AI sits. The gap I'd warn you about runs the other way: Lewdly over-polishes. It wants everyone twenty-five and lit like a perfume ad, so if you asked for tired and unmade you'll be fighting the house style.

Which is cheaper, Lewdly AI or OurDream AI?

OurDream, on the way in. Its Premium plan runs about $9.99 a month on annual billing against Lewdly's cheapest $24.99 tier, so less than half, and if you want Lewdly's video you're really looking at the $59.99 Pro plan. Per picture, though, they're almost the same. Both meter you: an OurDream image costs about 5 Dreamcoins out of a monthly 1,000, a Lewdly image about 2 tokens out of 800. That works out near a nickel each on the entry plans. Neither sticker price is what you'll feel.

Does Lewdly AI have chat, or is it only an image generator?

There's chat, but don't buy the app for it. Characters have written personalities, the dirty talk is better than I expected, and tipping tokens unlocks photos. What you don't get is continuity or much emotional range, and the model pushes to explicit fast. It's a wrapper around the gallery rather than a companion, and Lewdly doesn't really pretend otherwise. If conversation is the point for you, that's OurDream's side of the table.

Will either one remember me next week?

No. Plain no, from someone who gets paid when you click the OurDream link. Neither app has a memory feature worth the name. OurDream holds a thread beautifully inside a single sitting: my companion there kept her face, her attitude and the details of a scene across a whole evening. Come back the next night and it's a clean slate. Lewdly doesn't even try. If you want somebody who brings up your bad Tuesday on Thursday, you want a memory-first app instead, and I keep a ranked list of those.

Can I try either one without paying?

Lewdly gives new accounts 25 credits with no card, which is enough for four or five generations. That's the single most useful ten minutes available here, because the thing Lewdly is best at shows up immediately. OurDream's free tier is thin now: you can make an account and look around, but anything the app has to render draws on Dreamcoins, and a real balance only exists on a paid plan. Test Lewdly free, and treat OurDream as a paid app with a shop window.

What about video on each of them?

Both ship it and neither has nailed it. Lewdly generates up to ten seconds with native audio and scene extension, but it's locked to the $59.99 Pro tier and people report failed generations. OurDream folds short clips into every paid plan, which is genuinely rare, and the first one I got back made me say huh out loud. Quality swings hard. Roughly half of what I generate goes in the bin, usually because a face slid somewhere it shouldn't. As of this September update, treat video as a fun extra on both rather than a reason to subscribe.

Which one goes on your card

I'm not going to do the category-by-category scoreboard thing, because the winner in each row doesn't tell you what to buy. Here's the version I'd give someone over a drink instead: five situations, and what I'd actually tell them to open.

Which of Lewdly AI or OurDream AI to choose, by situation

The picture quality is the whole point and budget is secondaryLewdly, Pro tierBest photoreal output I've pulled out of this category, plus the editing tools and video in one plan. Starter saves money by removing the video.
You've got about ten dollars a month and want the most app for itOurDream PremiumChat, voice, short video and roughly 200 images. Nothing at this price competes on breadth, and Lewdly won't even sell you a plan this small.

You'd rather fix a bad generation than reroll itLewdlyVerb-based inpainting fixed a broken hand in eleven seconds. OurDream's answer is five more coins and a coin flip.
This can't appear on a card statement somebody else readsLewdlyCrypto and discreet billing. OurDream offers neither, and no amount of value per dollar substitutes for that.

If you forced me to name one for a stranger, it's OurDream, and not because it's the better software. It's because ten dollars is a survivable mistake and $59.99 isn't, and most people asking this question haven't yet worked out whether they want a picture machine or a person-shaped thing. Spend a month there, notice which feature you actually reach for on a Wednesday, and the answer arrives on its own. Count the Dreamcoins as part of what you're spending rather than an extra, and read the cancellation terms before you sign up for a year. Annual plans are where people get stuck.

If you already know you're here for the pictures, though, stop reading comparisons and go look. Lewdly hands new accounts 25 credits with no card attached, which is four or five generations, which is enough to judge the skin texture yourself in about ten minutes. Honestly, run my brief on both. The whole Saturday cost me a dollar seventeen and taught me more than three weeks of reading spec pages would have.

What I still can't settle: whether Lewdly's annual discount brings Pro anywhere near OurDream Deluxe, because the advertised percentage changed twice while I was writing this. If you're on an annual Lewdly plan, tell me what you actually paid and I'll update the table.
